The situation

It was a good thing that Charlie was at home again, when the dreaded letter arrived. After 90 days, of not paying the mortgage, Charlie and his wife, Patricia would be foreclosed on. Come up with the money in 60 days, or find another place to live! It had been almost a year, since he had been laid off from the investment firm. With his savings dwindling, Charlie racked his brain to figure out what the best solution was.

An idea from a friend

On Fridays, Charlie always met with his friend, Dana for lunch. Dana would give him the scoop on all the old office news, since she had a way of finding out everything. They had become good buddies, after Dana revealed that she was  a Transgender girl. Charlie would always flirt with her, but had no idea, that such a gorgeous girl, used to be a man! Over some bread sticks and sangria, he explained the  possibility of getting put out of the house, that he and Patricia worked so hard to get. Where he would get the money, that was needed to keep them off the street, Charlie did not know. Dana interrupted his thought, ” Why don’t you get a job at Lucky’s?” He thought for a moment, then quickly replied, “I am not a sissy!” Dana could see that Charlie was running the idea through his mind. Plenty of  “girls” had attained their dream life working at Lucky’s. Dana knew that Charlie could do it too.

Will Charlie get a job at Lucky’s to keep the house? What exactly does the job entail? Find out in the next installment.
